MTN.TOP now has 3 SKI width options
DId you know?
A snowbike ski is like a racing tire — it’s the most precise component when it comes to handling. There’s no perfect setup for every condition, so if you want consistent performance year-round, you’ll want to adjust your setup based on the conditions. The ski is the easiest way to dial in your ride for the most comfortable experience.
9¼” Wide Ski: Best for crummy or variable snow conditions. Makes steering easier. Sold separately.
11¼” Wide Ski: The best all-around ski, designed to perform well in most conditions. Comes standard on all snowbike kits.
13¼” Wide Ski: High flotation ski for deep powder. Keeps your snowbike riding on top. Sold separately.
The 9 1/4” wide ski excels in precision handling, even in less-than-perfect snow conditions. With global warming, these conditions seem to be the new standard for winter in many places. While this narrower width may not perform as well in deep snow, it shines in setup conditions or on hard-packed trails, making these terrains much easier to tackle. It also enhances comfort in such conditions.
The 11.5” wide ski performs exceptionally well in the backcountry for deep snow flotation and precision handling. It also excels on the trail, providing the best all-around performance. This ski comes standard on all MTN.TOP snowbike kits.
