Custom Builds

Our specialty is crafting fully customized snowbikes tailored to each rider's unique needs.
Every snowbike we build is a little different—shaped by how it's ridden, where it's ridden, and who's riding it. Rather than offering pre-set packages, we take a personalized approach, customizing each bike to perfectly match the individual preferences and riding style of our customers.

Below we’ve added a few of our favorites from last season.

The Twins

A black and white motocross bike with a spiked track around the wheels, placed in a garage with helmet storage on a shelf, jackets on the wall, and a small yellow container.
A motocross motorcycle with orange, black, and mountain-themed design in a garage, surrounded by riding gear, helmets on shelves, and a small two-wheeled cart or scooter.

Because the only thing better than one cool snowbike is two.

The Big Nick

Nick is—well, big. That’s why we call him Big Nick (we’re creative like that). Building his setup took a few extra parts, a sprinkle of engineering magic, and maybe a prayer or two to the SnowBike Gods to handle his extra largeness and his “ride it like you stole it” style.

When your average snow day just doesn’t cut it—you need a MUTHAFUKNSNOWDAY.

This build will always hold a special place for me. We’re based out of Idaho, but the owner of this beast lives all the way in Pennsylvania. He found us through social media, looking for a truly unique, high-quality setup. After some solid back-and-forth, we tracked down the right bike and got to work.

The build list is similar to the ones above, but with a few custom touches to make this GasGas really shine—including a fully custom chrome graphic kit that sets it off just right.

2024 KTM 450SXf with 2025 Mtn Top 126 x 3.25”

Ah yes, the KTM 450. The industry workhorse. The snowbike gold standard. The one setup that’s nearly impossible to mess up. Pair it with a Mountain Top kit and you’ve got yourself a snow-slaying machine that’s built to rip, climb, and show your buddies who's boss.

This bike has lived its life as our test mule. We threw all kinds of parts at it—some winners, some... well, let’s just say they’re not making the highlight reel. From ecu tuning to suspension tweaks to airflow experiments that would make a NASA engineer proud, this bike has seen it all. And by the end of the season, we had it running like an absolute dream. No hiccups, no quirks—just pure, reliable performance.

Want a bike that starts when it should, climbs like a goat on Red Bull, and absolutely dominates? This is it. If you’re looking to roast your riding crew on the hill and still make it home in time for tacos—look no further.

2024 KTM 300XC with 2025 Mtn Top 126 x 3.25”

We wanted to see how the KTM 300 TBI would hold up against the tried-and-true beast that is the KTM 450—and let’s just say, the 300 came out swinging. Total sleeper hit of the season!

If you’re all about big mountain missions and neck-deep powder, this probably isn’t your ultimate weapon. But if you like to whip it around and cause some chaos when the snow is set up? This thing is a straight-up riot.

Now, there was a bit of a learning curve. That slick-looking engine jacket? Yeah… don’t waste your time. Turns out, you don’t need it. The stock tune? Meh—it’s fine, but once you throw on some aftermarket love, it really comes alive. The in-line thermostat from C3 is a slick upgrade, and yes, heated bars do make life on a 2-stroke surprisingly cozy.

2026 Builds

CMX vs Mtn Top

Rockstar edition FC450 with a 2026 CMX Dominator kit

The Battle of the Best

This year, we decided to shake things up.

To give our customers more options—and keep things as fair and unbiased as possible—we brought CMX into the mix and put together a true head-to-head showdown. Two identical Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar Edition builds. Same setup. Same conditions. One big question: which one rules the mountain?

  • Bike 1: 2026 CMX Dominator

  • Bike 2: 2026 Mtn Top Transfer

  • Tracks: Both running the 3.25 x 126” Mtn Top track

From there, we stacked both bikes with all the good stuff—C3, Trail Tech, SXS, plus a handful of our own custom touches—to make sure each machine could handle everything the mountain throws at it.

And make no mistake… these bikes have very different personalities.

CMX Dominator: All Gas, No Apologies

The CMX is an absolute riot. This thing is as rowdy as it gets—it’ll go anywhere you point it, as long as you’re cool doing it with the ski in the air. It begs to be ridden hard.

The suspension shines when you’re aggressive and on the throttle. Stay active, stay loose, and it rewards you. Sit down and try to cruise through the bumps? Yeah… it might remind you who’s in charge.

Mtn Top Transfer: Smooth, Stable, Unstoppable

The Mtn Top is the workhorse of the pair. Calm, confident, and incredibly capable, it’ll take you anywhere with ease.

Its suspension is soft and compliant, soaking up terrain without drama. It stays light on the ski, but never feels sketchy or out of control—just predictable, planted, and ready to keep climbing.
