The C3 Intake Outerwear Dual Sock is the replacement pre-filter made for the exposed inlet on a C3 snowbike intake. Two filtration layers are sewn into one fitted cover, helping keep airborne snow from reaching the intake while preserving the airflow path the C3 system was designed to use.

Why it matters
Snow ingestion at an open intake can build up quickly in deep conditions. The pre-filter forms the first barrier at the inlet and is easier to inspect, clear, and replace than the complete intake assembly. The snug elastic edge holds the cover on the 2.5-inch-diameter intake pipe without adding a separate clamp.

This listing is for one dual-layer filter sock only. It is made in the United States by Outerwear for the C3 intake application. The aluminum intake tube, model-specific mounting hardware, breather filter, and other parts from the complete C3 intake kit are not included.
Fitment and care
The sock is sized for the 2.5-inch inlet used by the C3 Powersports snowbike intake and is not presented as a universal cover for every intake system. Confirm the intake type and diameter before ordering. Seat the elastic edge evenly around the pipe so no portion can lift into the airflow. Inspect the cover before each ride and during heavy snow exposure, clear accumulated snow without tearing the material, and replace it if the fabric, stitching, or elastic is damaged. Follow the filter maker’s care instructions; do not use a cleaning method or chemical that can affect filtration or fabric strength.
