Product details

C3 Rigid Rubber Kill cones replace compatible rubber bar-mount bushings at the upper triple clamp. They are intended for riders who notice play, twisting, or a vague connection at the bar mounts and want a more direct steering feel, particularly with taller risers or after sustained hard use.

Manufacturer: C3 Powersports

Why it matters

Soft cone bushings isolate some vibration but can also allow movement at the clamp. A rigid cone reduces that compliance, helping the mounts stay aligned after an impact and giving the rider more precise feedback. The tradeoff is that a more rigid connection can transmit additional engine and chassis vibration into the handlebar, especially on larger-displacement bikes.

What’s included

The product is supplied as a set of four cones for one compatible bar-mount assembly. It does not replace the riser, top clamp, or bar mounts themselves.

Fitment and setup

These cones fit only supported triple-clamp and bar-mount designs. Direct-thread systems and other incompatible clamp styles do not use this type of cone. Select the exact motorcycle configuration offered on the product page rather than relying on a general brand or year rule; special-edition motorcycles may use a different-generation clamp. Install the complete set according to C3’s instructions and torque the mount hardware correctly. An experienced installer may tune feel by combining rigid and original rubber cones in opposing positions, but both sides must remain symmetrical and securely assembled.
