The C3 Threaded Bar-End Kit creates a solid M8 mounting point inside a compatible hollow handlebar. It is commonly used when installing C3 FORCEFIELD NXT or another wrap-around handguard on a stock bar that does not already have threaded ends.

Why it matters
A threaded insert avoids the friction-expander style of bar-end mount and gives the handguard bolt a positive mechanical thread. C3 CenterFlow heated handlebars already have threaded ends built in, so this kit is normally for stock or other compatible hollow handlebars rather than for CenterFlow bars.
What’s included
The kit supplies the threaded bar-end components selected above. A 5/8-11 UNC tap can be included as an option for riders or shops that do not already have the correct tool. Cutting lubricant, handguards, shields, and general hand tools are separate unless the chosen option states otherwise.
Fitment and installation
The 5/8-11 thread requires a handlebar inside diameter of approximately 15 mm or less. C3 notes that this is common across many handlebars but may not apply to some newer Yamaha bars, so measure the actual bar before ordering or cutting threads. Installation requires the correct tap, lubricant, alignment, and basic threading experience. Protect the throttle tube and controls from chips, keep the tap square to the bar, and clean all debris from the handlebar after cutting. Confirm that the throttle returns freely and that the finished handguard cannot bind any control before riding.
