The C3 Yamaha High-Volume Intake replaces the stock airbox cover with a vented, injection-molded cover designed for current-generation Yamaha four-strokes. It increases available airbox volume and adds snow-resistant mesh-covered vent area while retaining the stock airbox structure.

Why it matters
A stock foam-filter system is designed primarily for dry dirt-bike use. In snow, moisture can collect and freeze in the filter, restricting airflow and affecting the fuel mixture. The C3 cover moves the snow-facing filtration to purpose-built vent and pre-filter layers while providing more open cold-air access for snowbike conditions.
What’s included
The intake system includes the model-specific high-volume cover and the filtration components specified by the selected setup. C3’s snow configuration uses a custom dual-layer Outerwear pre-filter in place of the stock foam filter. Replacement inner mesh and outer vent mesh components are listed separately for service.
Fitment and installation
This intake is limited to the Yamaha models and generations offered by the live selector. Select the exact make, year, model, and configuration above; do not infer fit from a similar airbox cover. The system mounts to the stock airbox in place of the original cover, so inspect the sealing surface and ensure the new cover seats evenly. Install the correct filtration layers for snow or dirt use as directed by C3, verify that no edge or fastener can admit unfiltered air, and inspect the vents and filter before each ride.
